Adolescent Nutrition Sanitation and Health (ANSH)
Funded by GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare (GSK-CH) under Mission Health, the project delivered nutrition-focused programs and schemes targeting adolescents aged 10–19 years. ANSH prioritized improving adolescent nutritional status by reinforcing evidence-based interventions already integrated within India’s existing health and nutrition systems.

We combine community centric solutions, collaborative partnerships, and data informed approaches to empower local stakeholders and enhance existing systems. By focusing on continuous monitoring, capacity building, and adaptive planning, we ensure long-term, sustainable improvements that create lasting impact.
1.
Technical Assistance and Systems Integration
The project provided technical support to government and implementation partners, facilitating the seamless rollout of integrated health, nutrition, and WASH interventions. This project focused on creating a cohesive delivery framework to address to the specific needs of both in-school and out-of-school adolescents.
2.
Awareness and Demand Generation
A strategic focus on driving positive nutritional outcomes through dietary diversity, targeted community mobilization, and increased demand for Iron Folic Acid (IFA) supplementation and deworming interventions among adolescents.
3.
Supply Chain Optimization
To bridge the gap between demand and delivery, the project streamlined the supply chain to ensure the consistent availability of IFA and deworming tablets.
4.
WASH Infrastructure and Adolescent Wellbeing
The project enhanced school-based sanitation to create safe, functional facilities that supported adolescent well-being.
