Inefficient supply chains are more than just a logistical hurdle; they are a barrier to life-saving care. When supply chains fail, patients lose access to the life-saving medicines and health products. We believe that effective drugs, diagnosis and healthcare commodities are as effective as the system that delivers them. Through various strategic projects, we provided technical support across People, Process, and Technology to ensure the uninterrupted supply of high-quality healthcare commodities, including HIV/AIDS and TB drugs.
Poor adoption of digital tools hinders real-time data, which is essential for efficient logistics. These supply gaps directly impact health outcomes, contributing to avoidable illness and mortality.
Nearly 66% of India’s population lives in rural areas, where accessing timely and affordable healthcare is a persistent challenge. Approximately 94% of rural healthcare facilities lack adequate digital integration. Poor adoption of digital tools hinders real-time data, which is essential for efficient logistics. These supply gaps directly impact health outcomes, contributing to avoidable illness and mortality.
We support the strengthening of regional and state supply chains and logistics management under the National AIDS Control Programme (NACP) and the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP). In collaboration with the Central TB Division (CTD), NACO, SACS, and health facilities, we help revise, standardize, and roll out Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve procurement, logistics, and last-mile delivery, ensuring timely access for vulnerable communities.

We empower the workforce or supply chain staff through a blend of face-to-face training and a digital Learning Management System (LMS). We have built the capacity of over 35,000 supply chain staff, pharmacists, and vendors.

We bring efficiency to forecasting and quantification. By providing our support in strengthening electronic Logistics Management Information Systems like SOCH and Nikshay Aushadhi, under the NACP and NTEP frameworks. We ensure that critical supply chain data is recorded, reported, and made visible in real-time. This provides last-mile facilities with the vital insights needed to make proactive, informed decisions that prevent stock-outs and ensure uninterrupted treatment for every patient.

Supply Chain Management of HIV/AIDS commodities (2018-2021)
As a Sub-Recipient, we partnered with Plan India, to provide technical assistance in strengthening HIV/AIDS drug, diagnostic, and commodity supply chains under the National AIDS Control Program (NACP). The project was funded by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM). We supported the National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO) and the State AIDS Control Societies (SACS) in maintaining an uninterrupted supply of antiretroviral drugs, testing kits, and related commodities across India, alongside developing SOPs for supply chain management. In 2020, a technology-driven Learning Management System (LMS) built personnel capacity, improving training coverage, motivation, and sustainability throughout the supply chain.
